G37
While I was at the car show today, they had a G37 coupe. I must say that it is very impressive and striking. I sat in it and I love how it really wraps you in like a sports car would. I am looking to sell my S2000 next year and possibly pick this up. I was considering the 335i so it is really a tossup. But I am starting to sway towards the G37. What have you guys heard about it? Anybody have one?

yes, i saw it in person - it was sitting right behind the old g35 coupe. it looks a bit better than pix but nothing special. if it was between a 335 coupe and a g37, it would be a no brainer decision for me

The manual is not the best choice for the car because the clutch lets out very abruptly. It is fairly easy to stall this car, and while I have a pretty realistic assessment of my driving skills, I drive a lot of manuals and don't find this car particularly easy to get off the line. This is something I experienced in the earlier G35 coupe and in the current G35 sedan, albeit to a lesser extent.

Once you do the research and a test drive you will be assured the 335i is the only way to go!

I've been looking at the 135 and the G37...
If $ is part of the equation, the G is sig. less than the 335. I talked to a BMW salesguy who said they're still selling the 3-series coupe above msrp. Guys buying the G37 have said they got below msrp within the 1st wk of the release.
Most people seem to agree that the 335 is a better performer than the G37, but just slightly in all categories. I've heard more than one say that the 335 is what you want to track, while you can track the G37, while you want to cruise on the higway in a G.
Dunno - after the 135 comes out I'll drive both, and then think of selling my S and civic.... or maybe just keep the S and Civic.. I love my S.

I seen the new G37. Pretty nice. If you are planning to leave your car stock then you should take a long hard look at the G37. If you plan to mod it then it is a no brainer the 335i is the clear choice.
