How Rice Are You?
Reminiscing with a friend today about the old days when we would watch the First Fast & Furious... This big bulky kits, the double stacked APR wing, 19's and lambo doors.... The ever so famous headlight conversions and neon lights.. Like most in that era I had it all.... Lambo doors, 19's and headlight conversion on my 2001 Acura Integra.....
Let's get a good laugh from going back in the past.... Post some pics of your old Ricers

Pretty nice car for a high school kid, although nowadays there are kids with new M5 and Porsche driving around in California. It's gotten ridiculous here.
I had a 99 Prelude that was stock (couldn't afford mods) through most of high school. Drag raced the hell out of it though!

I had a '99 GMC Sierra z71 back in highschool. I still have it, super reliable and has gotten me through snow storms that have dropped 2 feet of snow in one night.
I luckily skipped the rice stage of my life - although some would consider my S2K rice, even if everything is functional.

I put a berk headerback on my S as it's first major mod...and when I go to pass people I feel pretty ricey. Im in my 30s now, but hey...because racecar I wish I had a pic of my 2000 Celica GTS...it was pretty modded out with a body kit, wheels, and APR wing.

I would say jdm headlights on an Integra was less of a rice thing and more of a much needed facelift. The US bumpers were atrocious and the japanese headlights looked so much better. As long as they weren't those awful black backed tail lights and headlights then I say most oem jdm headlight swaps were an improvement

Bus route 23 was my ride ib high school despite my greatest efforts to get a car. I did end up getting a 95 talon tsi awd right after I graduated. Loved that cat sold it way too soon.

Ahh my Nissan Stanza leaving the first Hot Import Nights in Long Beach. I remember the buzzing exhaust Civics looking at my car like WTF. Even had an Intake from a 240 on the car. Was talking for a bit with Stillen to do an SR20DET swap around 1999. Went to UC Irvine if that helps with the ricing mentality. The dorm parking lot in '97 were like their own car show.
It was fun to see others fixing up their cars back then and in the early 90's. Speaking of Fast and Furious I was trying to get my car in that movie back when it was called Redline.
