Default its official - Honda Fit in 2006

Its official, the Honda Fit is coming to the US in Spring 2006.

"Honda will introduce the fuel efficient Fit as an entry level model in North America. Fit models manufactured in Brazil will be introduced to Mexico in October of this year, and the Japan-made Fit will be introduced to the U.S. and Canada next spring. Slightly off topic:

It is from the same website...

"........Honda will continue its testing efforts for HondaJet which improves fuel efficiency by 40% compared to existing aircrafts in its class by combining excellent aerodynamic performance with the high fuel efficiency of Honda

Its like Honda's answer to the xB/xA stuff.
I'm looking forward to the fit. It seems like it would make an excellent second car. Can haul lots of stuff, get good gas mpg, and have Honda quality.

Yeah seriously, who really cares about the Fit.

But didn't you notice this important tidbit:

< NSX successor >
We are now focused on the development of a new model to succeed the NSX for a new era. We would like to debut a new super sports car equipped with a V10 engine in 3 to 4 years. Please look forward to seeing the NSX successor.
V10 NSX!!! Hopefully the NSX will return to true supercar status.

Getting a decent new Honda for around $11k after incentives, etc. is not a bad deal for a 2nd or 3rd beater car.
