I'd prefer to see one of Carmack's Ferrari's up for sale (F50,etc...)
I would've thought Romero would've sold his rides long ago with the way Ion Storm has been performing lately.

I think this info is correct and I know there are plenty that know more about him than me...
He is the founder of ID software, wrote the kick arse game engine for Quake, had a not so successful gamed called Daikatana, which those of us who play games know...REALLYS SUCKED
Met him and his girlfriend at E3 last year but I will keep my personal opinions out of this forum

Actually, John Carmack is the genius behind the Doom/Quake series. Yes, I call this guy a genius not only because his game kick, but he has been revolutionary in the world of graphics & broadband.
Romero was the prodigal partner that thought he could do things better. His pet project Daikatana was a flop although his company produced Deus Ex which was very nice.
