I don't know why people are calling this a sports car. It's a sporty luxury coupe, like the S-class coupe.
It's actually supposed to be 4,300lbs.
This pic looks a little better. The hitler stache grill is getting really old. Not even close to being an LFA replacement. The LFA was something truly amazing. Now if that engine made it's way into a car that was closer to the $100k mark rather than being $300k+ that would be a really interesting thing.
That's the concept from 3 years ago.

I think the front grille is absolutely butt ugly! Those twin sissy bars remind me of my C7 Vette.

Only 467 hp and it starts at $100K? No thanks.

I think the car i stunning but i dont exactly get what this car is supposed to be. Sports car? Luxury coupe? Jaguar/ Aston competitor? And like others have said, 467 is not going to cut it at that price point.

Great looking car minus the weird Lexus grill but i could get used to it... but at $100k i dont see this being sold much. Once you enter the 6 figures ball park, theres plenty of other options to go with that would suit anyones needs. Now if this thing came in like $70k i think it would have a fighting chance...

This is not a flagship by any measure. This is a 2+2 gran tourer, and everything seems to be just in spec for that. A 650 is about the same power, as is a non-AMG S-Class coupe (although it's a bigger car but no other company bar Maserati makes a coupe based on their full-size), Maserati GT Sport is again right about the 450hp mark, DB9 too, Jag XK 5.0 is also there.
I don't get the gripe honestly.
Lexus needed a GT car and the made one that ticks all the right boxes.
Long bonnet, right amount of power, right configuration of seats (2+2).
This is not an "F" version and it certainly is not an LFA replacement.
It's just a GT car, and the specs look fine for that matter.
