To Mod or To Save
ok so ive been out of the s2k for almost a year now i loved that car with all my heart.
right now im in a miata :but its really not that bad.
anyways im in a bit of a conflict. ive always wanted a motorcycle and to get back into an S is a dream. So should i mod my miata which would be awesome and nothing against it. or should i simply keep up with maintenance and not settle for a moded miata?

Save. Period.
I'm kinda in a similar save or spend position right now. I've always wanted a 911, and I've got some cash put back that I could use for a down payment, but I'd still end up with pretty hefty monthly payments. I haven't had car payments in about 4 years, so I just can't get motivated to take on debt for a depreciating asset. Plus, I don't want to spend my cash and eat into my slush fund/emergency fund.
At least you have a Miata which is still a fun car. All I have is a 15-year-old Accord sedan.
