Evo RS' are beast I drove a friends 8rs and it felt raw as f***!!!! congrats on your power, your evo must feel like a beast! I wish there was an E85 station close to my area I'd switch in a heartbeat!
Dude, there is. You live in Chino Hills? I live in Orange/Tustin... there's an E85 station in Fullerton, off the 91.
oh... I haven't updated my location but yeah I live in Eastvale (aka Corona) so that would be quite a drive the closest one to me technically is in Pomona but I DD my Evo so filling up regularly would be a problem.

I've owned 2 evos before. An 03 and a 06 IX brand new. They do handle absolutely amazing but I don't think they're more go-kart than a s2000. I like the s2000 steering alot better and the s2000 feels more like a drivers car but the Evo is an amazing machine. They're both great cars!

^+1 to that....I have a '11 Evo X and I wished they kept the 4G63 in them. Although 4b11's are more responsive to mods (mine has an intake, UICP, test pipe and cat back and it made 338/323 on 91) they are not as bulletproof as the 4G63. Handling wise, the EVO X does feel better but it is because of the S-AWC. IMHO the 8s and 9s were like the AP1 of s2000s (raw driving experience) and the Evo X is more like the AP2 (a more civilized ride, but still puts a smile on your face)

BTW congrats on your EVO RS op!! Don't listen to Ameer... haha, he loved my EVO X when he drove it
Haha I know! Ameer would throw his AP1 in the trash if he drove my RS which only weighs a couple hundred lbs more...

Also, here's the dynograph linked properly for anyone that cares

There will be no trashing of the Ap1's

Race me! I spent some time with Darrin @ West End Alignment yesterday and he gave me a good road map for what sort of suspension setup I'm going to use for tracking the car. Should be awesome.
