Hey, people apparently loved the newer Mazdas enough to buy them like crazy when then went from the already comical "face" to the more comical and hideous "dumbass grin" look ... so I think there is a much larger crowd that likes these designs :P Those marketing folks do know a little and apparently thought (probably righfully by sales numbers) that this new Camry appealed to more than it did not. Most of us are probably the minority!
And how, on the SE models without the quad exhaust, it just has a blank opening on one side? Just below the fake vent that is supposed to look like it's venting... not sure what exactly? Can't say I agree with you.

I bought one to replace my tired 335i. Got mine for $3300 off MSRP due to the lagging sales, and I have to say it's a perfect commuter car! I use the ACC everyday in LA traffic, which makes driving about 10x less stressful. The car looks better in person, but here's my favorite view:
In all seriousness, the Accord interior is excellent - class-leading, I would say. I'd previously have said Mazda6 but the new Accord is a step ahead in nearly every way.
