Default The New Lexus LS600 hL

After testing driving the IS350, I was impressed with Lexus new models and after hearing about a new LS I searched the web.

The new LS hybrid V8 suppose to make 35mpg and a crap load of technology like the new S-class.

The biggest rumor (atleast I don't believe it yet) is a button that AUTOMATICALLY parks the car? wtf

true-dat it will park itself.

[QUOTE]Another feature that elicited wows from the audience was a system that would allow the car to actually park itself.

I'm not a fan of sedans but that car has class, especially the interior. Thumbs Up from me.

I'm interested enough in the non-hybrid LS460 which as +80 hp from the outgoing model as well as the first 8-speed AT.
Try 100 more. I have a LS430 and it's not fast, but it does go when you want it to go. I wouldn't buy first year cars no matter the make, but I can see myself replacing my current LS with this new one in a few years. I love the direction Lexus is going. The new LS will make the much more expesive S class shake in its knees.

Price aside I take the S class all day over the LS. Another boring exterior design from Toyota.

Looks "okay", like a bloated IS and a bit like the A8. How much is this thing anyway?

I think it will. There is preliminary price speculation on the lexus board where the base LS will start in the mid-$60s while the S-class STARTS at $86K.

A S550 with most options is $100K+ while that's probably closer to the LS600 price.

The V12 MB STARTS at $140K

It's nice, but it looks like a GS with an extra foot of car added. I think the current one looks classier on the outside, oddly enough. I'll have to see it in person.

The interior on the other hand looks great. I would just want mine to be in a very darak grey or black color. Black + leather interior = hell ya.

I will say I would have thought they'd make some sort of desk-type setup for the front passenger, rather than just having a glove box and the airbag. It'd be cool to be able to whip out my laptop and go to work while being chaufeured around.
