Reviews are meaningless to me... for ALL cars. I would certainly give it a chance, though. If and when I am in the market for a mid-sized sedan, I will compare the following: Accord, TL, Aura, Legacy GT, G35... maybe.
But I can't tell you I'll go into the process optimistic for the Saturn. I've seen and driven the G6 and I was underwhelmed.
It is me or do people always pull this "but it's better than their last effort" crap with GM products? Who cares if the 2007 Saturn is better than the 2006? Who cares if GM has finally 'gotten it' and is beginning to follow the lead of the imports? At this point in time, I DO NOT.
No offense to anyone intended, but GM has to stop trying to meet the Japanese efforts... of 5.. 10 years ago... and be ahead of the curve for once.
If a well-made Saturn appears to be as good as an Accord, I might consider looking at it. If a well-made Saturn earns a reputation as an innovative, well-constructed and reliable machine... say, for a more than one year... then I could actually consider BUYING one.
That's just my opinion based on MY experiences. I have every right to be skeptical of GM. They earned it.
