The word that comes to my mind is Fugly, that is, well you know...
I have seen the concept in person and my impression was that it was tall and heavy.
Low, sleek, fast- all those words DO NOT come to my mind when I see it.
I will not get into ripping it apart from an aesthetic point of view, I will just say I'm with Sime.
After all, Sime-un said, it was f***ed up.

my friend has a lexus sc430 and at first i thought it did not look that great, but it has grown on me...I do love its features though regardless of looks. the interior is second to none as fas as i am concerned. it drives very nice as well.

I think the Z looks a little too funky.. and they clearly ripped off many design elements from other cars... but that's the way the game is played.
Doesn't anyone else think that Honda will see the Z selling nicely and respond with something of their own? I would sure love to see a $33K GT version of the S2000 with a 3.0L V6. After all, most of the difficult design work has already been done in terms of chassis, etc.

Thanks Triple H.......thought I was going crazy there for a while. I think it looks too overdone style-wise.
Still, I maintain, each to their own.
