Esclades get stolen alot and get stripped, a lot of tahoe folk like to convert theirs into escalades, so the market is out there for them.
Dunno why a person would steal a hummer, but from what I understand, GM SUVs are rather easy to steal thus they keep popping up on the radar.
Honda has done well in reducing total thefts, but they still keep getting broken into.

Are you surprised? If I had a GM SUV with gas the way it was, it would be pretty easy to steal because I would leave the windows down and the key in the ignition!

back when I had my DC2R..they said gen 4 tegs were no. 1 most stolen
...and now..its ap2s..again..im paranoid

American SUVs (and especially Hummers) are stolen and shipped to the middle east then sold over there... I don't know how much they go for now, but a few years ago, stolen SUVs were being sold for $55-80,000 over there... this has been happening for years...
