Nice ride!!!!! what year is yours? I enjoyed my 08 Z06 (pic). Unfort through my Divorce i couldn't afford it at the time.... I hit an idicated 193mph on thanksgiving day when the roads were empty...I spun my way to a 12.2 @ 124mph on the stock tires... i spun like crazy in 2nd gear.... i only ran two runs and the 2nd run i effed up my 2-3 shift but was .3 faster at the 1/8 mark, so i shouldn't be in the 11's...Mine did not handle superwonderfully on the run flats and shitty stock alignment.....i somehow bought mine brand new for like $55k despite an $80k MSRP...

Get that goofy wild to mild remote... they are cheap and you can leave remotely make the exhaust baffles stay open with the remote... pretty cool.... i even got something close to 30mpg on a highway only 4 hour trip...

Do want. (Minus color of car/wheels but that's all personal preference).

Hey Scot,

This one is an '08 as well with 20K miles. '08 and '09 are the best years in my opinion since they have the new tranny but not all the electronic nannies. They're also the lightest I believe. Mine's an animal with an intake on it. I spun through 2nd gear on a freeway on ramp this morning...scare the crap out of me. Nothing like torque to put a smile on your face eh? They're routinely in the mid to high 11s on stock rubber if you can hook it up right. Some mild bolt ons and it's a 10 second car.

It's a dual mode exhaust with the inner two exhaust pipes having a valve inside that opens and closes based on rpm and a few other factors. When it's closed, exhaust is pretty quiet. Open and it roars. The appropriately named mild to wild switch just gives you control inside the cabin to keep the valves open 24/7 or if your spouse/gf gets in the car and doesn't like the drone, push the button again and it goes back to normal mode.

If i didn't buy my Dodge i had been looking at slightly used Z06's because of the engine/ trans / exhaust / etc..... i think if i had it to do over i would have gotten an aggressive alignment and probably enjoyed the handling on mine better... I really liked my 08. they rev to ??? 7200? something fairly high for a 427ci! exhaust sound is effing awesome when the baffles are open! I probably hit the rev limiter in 4th gear about 50 times in mine in the 5 months i had it. I could do that on my way to the gym on a bridge that was on the way.

You gonna keep it mostly stock? besides the handling and maybe exhaust I don't think there is any great reason to modify them! maybe some gunmetal volk TE37's.
