If i didn't buy my Dodge i had been looking at slightly used Z06's because of the engine/ trans / exhaust / etc..... i think if i had it to do over i would have gotten an aggressive alignment and probably enjoyed the handling on mine better... I really liked my 08. they rev to ??? 7200? something fairly high for a 427ci! exhaust sound is effing awesome when the baffles are open! I probably hit the rev limiter in 4th gear about 50 times in mine in the 5 months i had it. I could do that on my way to the gym on a bridge that was on the way.
You gonna keep it mostly stock? besides the handling and maybe exhaust I don't think there is any great reason to modify them! maybe some gunmetal volk TE37's.

We run a couple of Z06s here at work so I'll be putting on whatever two-piece rotor solution we developed here; I don't believe it's commercially available on the open market (yet). Definitely a big weight savings but more importantly the cost of consumables goes way down after the initial investment.

Varies based on the film type and coverage. You can get an idea from here but keep in mind that this doesn't include installation labor if you don't do it yourself: http://www.xpel.com/products/paint_protection_kits.asp
After watching the experts work on the car for close to four hours, there's no way I'd attempt this on my own

I the yellow color! Congrats!
Any speeding tickets yet?
I heard Chevy was discounting these big time! I would love to get one but need back seats for the kiddies...
