I think it's spot on. I work in Technology and can tell you, at least IMHO, that not every technological advancement is an advancement or a change for the better. I find it very fascinating and reassuring that LH ordered one that way. A computer can shift faster than me, but I still want to do it. Same goes for my motorcycles. Then there is the cost and the added complexity. Paddles are an advancement but they just aren't as engaging to drive, at least not to me. I like that a traditional clutch is something that I have to master, the human being. I do not want computers doing everything for me. MFR's will continue to be forced to make both options, one for the crowd that wants the fastest shifts possible, and the second for the crowd that wants a more engaging and challenging drive. I think if the GTR had a manual option I'd already have one.

I like that review. So why can't we hear that shotgun blast shift change in cabin? Music to the ears.
Another question, are roads in South America good enough to drive this car on? I figure someone buying this type of car is an actual car person and not just going to put this in their living room. Well maybe one will go in the living room and the other will go racing. =(
