Thank you fellas

There is some rust here and there on the odd bits of metal but nothing really on the chassis. Most of it I am sure I can 'fix' on my own, I plan on treating pretty much the whole interior shell or at the least the floor portion to POR 15 over the winter, the floorboards are pretty much exposed, no rust but I am worried that it could. The car is so low to the ground that after the first hour and a half or 2 hours on the highway we pulled over for gas and there was water pooling up on the floor by my feet. Water was coming UP through the drain hole lol.

Power is pretty good, I would say on a high speed roll my Mazdaspeed 3 is probably a bit faster. But down low its no contest this thing would get off the line and up to 100km/h faster. Acceleration in first is pretty violent

unlike most people here who don't have a penchant for buying other cars, it seems you have done very well with your decision.

Very nice, love how those Hyashes (sp?)

Also look into Rust bullet its the same as por15 but cheaper.

what size are those tripples, 40's or 42's?

I've never been in an S30 with a 3.1 stroker but mine still dusts my friends. Love how yours looks by the way. If you need any parts thezstore.com is the place to go.

Thanks skittle, these are Shatokans (gasp, Rots's! lol)

44mm Mikuni's. Yeah Z store really has it pretty much all. I think I will really focus on bringing the interior right back up to where it should be first. Maybe in a year or 2 I can plan on doing the Arizona Z track-pak.

I'd go after all the rust before interior - its prob more work than you might think.

I'm pretty sure rust was a factory-standard feature of Japanese cars from the 70s.
