Last summer, Benjamin Miles Keaton and Corey Nicholas Rudl died on a race track in San Diego County when Keaton, the driver, lost control of his Porsche Carrera GT and crashed into a wall. Now Rudl

Lastly they practically have to sue Porsche, it's kind of complicated to explain in a forum (I tried earlier) but if they don't include them their other claims become significantly less likely to succeed.

I hope a reasonable judge immediately dismisses the case for being without merit.

one fact that has not been stressed here is that one of the attorneys will win here. that is not the point of all of this, to make a law firm rich, but that will be a major outcome of all of this.
in other countries this does not happen and for some unknown reason life goes on, regardless of the tragic outcome of a day at the track.
i think when you go to the track you takes your risk, you must be on the ball and take it easy, trying not to out drive yourself.
anyone withe $$ for a downpayment can own a porsche or other supercar. it is personal responsibility to learn the limits of the car and of couse of your own driving ability before you test it out at supercar speeds on the track... with other people around you can hurt....there is a real difference between going 90 and 160.
i have seen a few screw ups on the track, usually due to driver error, that is part of the risk to me, people that you share the roadways with can be dangerous to drive with...we all know that. if someone caused this accident it surely is not porsche, many who buy these cars understand they can do really illegal things quickly, perhaps that is part of the reasoning as to why they buy them.
