I have said it before and I'll say it again, over the past several years it seems there was a designer swap at Acura and Hyundai.

On the plus side for Acura, I test drove the AWD-SH TL and I was not disappointed. Good power and sure-footed even in the sleet/snow wetted roads I experienced during the test drive. Cabin is comfortable and I like the technology they've injected in the new model. Too bad the manual won't appear till next year and the total volume of those sales will be less than 5%. Cross your fingers on a mild exterior refreshment soon...

It's funny beause of the people's reaction and ignorance. I still would of laugh if it was a daewoo or suzuki.

I bought my first S in 2000 and shortly there-after my wife and I made a trip to Southern California. We made our way to Rodeo Drive and were in stop and go traffic in the heart of the drive when a guy parked in a convertible Bentley started staring at the car. We drove on and found parking and started shopping. At our second store the guy from the Bentley was in there. He comes up to me and starts asking questions about the car. He asked me what it was and I said S2000 and started asking about performance, hp, etc. Eventually he asked me who made it and when I said, Honda, I wish I could have had his reaction on film. I think he threw up a little in his mouth and then politely said, "Well that car is gorgeous, but there is no way I could be seen driving around in a Honda". Typical American brand whore. Americans try to show everyone around them what income class they are in (or pretending to be in) by what they drive.
