i had one for about 6 months and loved the engine tranny, but the handling and braking are far behind for so much power. It goes to show that the fastest car in a straight line is not the best car when handling and braking are overlooked.
Good choice for the money, i thought that for th 25K range it is nearly impossible to beat.
Do you have many sqeaks and rattles? I traded mine because of these minor annoyances.

Did you get the factory performance package?
Well worth the money IMO. Great looking body kit, nicer looking lighter wheels and firmer lower suspension.
Also be ready when done with your break in... the car is much faster than you think, no comparaison with the last gen. At the track it puts down nearly the same 1/4 mile time as the Z or S2K.
Have fun with it, great choice.

It's not too late...
My only issue with it is the rims if you plan to go aftermarket. It may be possible to only get selected portions of the package.

Was not aware of this package. I sure would have looked at it.....

"A Civic Si Concept also debuted featuring a rally-style body kit, a GReddy turbocharged 2.0-liter i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine and a high-tech racing interior."
Looks like Honda is seriously considering a SRT-4 challenger. From this, it is at least obvious they are experimenting with turbos (putting the CART experience to use!)
