Which stock car series would you drive in?

And before anyone goes and says anything otherwise, if you think NASCAR only drives in ovals, you're dead wrong. And if you also think driving over 200mph bumper to bumper on those ovals is easy, you're also stupid. And if you say stuff about how low tech NASCAR is or whatever, I could care less because I'm not buying those cars and trickle down technology from racing efforts hardly happens unless you start talking about exotic cars. Also, if I were to be judging driver skill which people here seem to be doign since they're criticising the easy left turn only driving, wouldn't you want the cars to be pretty much equal?
But yes, NASCAR is rather rednecky, and no I'm not a fan, but I just can't get into watching racing in general.

OP, said money no object. Factor that back in, NASCAR should be considered. But only NASCAR's elite are super paid, get endorsements, and get recognized. I don't imagine Joey Lagano has trouble going to the Grocery Store. Japan Covets their Drivers, NASCAR has "it" drivers unless their name is Earnhardt. Bonus Points for Japanese Race queens.
But I'm thinkin' the Aussies or the DTM guys get the ladies.

1. V8 Supercars - I like the V8 sounds and all the "rubbins racin'" action on the exciting tracks
2. DTM - It only gets the nod over Super GT because the tracks are more interesting
3. Super GT - It might have placed higher but the non-existent coverage in the US knocks it down a peg
4. ETCC - While I would love to race wheel to wheel with Zanardi I want to go faster
5. NASCAR - Not enough road courses and don't race in the rain....yet. The "low tech" doesn't bother me, 900 horsepower out of a 10,000 rpm flat tappet carbuerated motor amazes me. Driving one on ovals doesn't appeal to me but I would love to be a road course ringer like Boris Said or Ron Fellows.

I'd drive in the SuperGT, but I'd drive slowly, lest I kill myself. I'd imagine driving in any of those would be fun, but as it is, I'd drive carefully and slowly, otherwise, I'd crash and burn.
