I know we are all about S2000's but I also have a Civic that needs work. And, I do not want to deal with a Civic forum. So...

I need to replace the struts/springs/shox on a 2001 Civic LX. It has 100K and the left front has gone bad. Other than OEM, does anyone have a suggestion of another replacement? The car is bone stock and is a daily driver, and will probably always stay that way.

Go to autozone and order a set of cheap struts. You use the same springs. There's not much point to doing anything other than stock on a civic like that. Honda really F'd the front suspensions on those cars. Like the RSX, Lowering them makes them handle worse.
