Well...maybe I'll keep the "S"...lol.

After 4 years the S2000 is one of the most "fun" cars I have ever owned. Never ONE ISSUE in 4 years.

The CLK500 is also VERY FUN to drive but in a VERY DIFFERENT way. It's faster and has more torque but is nowhere near as "toss-able". It is however a much better car for daily driving.

I have the option to keep the S2000 until August, but I think I am going to turn her in early.

-I will miss it when it's gone....

That's a nice car. Congrats on the new purchase. I'd tend to agree with you that the CLK series is a better (read: more practical) daily driver, but you just don't get the go kart feel as with the S. Love the color, too!

Thanks...go kart only got me 17K miles in 4 years....lol

It's a totally different car though. 306/330 in a 3500lbs coupe.

My S430 has not had any issues in 8 months ...

Everyone has a mother/aunt/uncle/neighbor -- but so few have the actual experience.

Good luck. My '03 W211 was an electronic nightmare.

Though I rarely say never - I'm tempted to say I'll never own an M-B again.

I agree, the E350 has no problems

I have had no problems with the 500 yet either.

The early 90's MB's had their problems and so did the 1st gen ML's.

Don't do it!!! Keep the S, its a much better car in quality IMO. Ever since Chrysler bought MB; MB's quality has gone way down.
