Aren't the new "super chargers" supposed to address this issue? There are 6 of them in California now.

The super charger is a good idea by Tesla for long distance travel, but the few locations will determine your route while traveling. It still takes about 30 minutes to charge your car and there aren't many of them. 6 is a start for Cali, but other states aren't so luckily. Plus gas stations are on every other block. Of course with time there will be more stations and faster recharge technology.
