The power band is almost the same for both of them. I dont think that the supercharger would be what is going to make or break it around the track or for daily driver capability. I think the fact that the C6R is 1.6in WIDER and 1.5in lower is going to be the biggest factor in its tractablity vs the stock Z06 w/supercharger, followed closely by the the tire size and the rest of the suspension set up. But to each his own.
Um, have you ever heard of 'heat soak?' A forced induction engine will never be as stable over a hard track session as a nice NA motor. To imply that a supercharged 7.0L LS7 motor would hold up as well or be as durable as a 8.2L NA race motor on the track is ridiculous.

How about this for a source...John Lingenfelter himself. I asked him a few years back (bless his soul) if his Roots blower or a nice head/cam package would be more durable for track days and he, without hesitation, said the head/cam package.

It looks like the only thing "small block" about this motor is the head configuration. I can't help but think the big block heads would breathe better, but maybe they haven't had the development work lately.

Forced induction was never in the cards for this project. The additional weight on the front end wouldn't have been acceptable for Pratt and Miller. The engine builder, Katech, isn't a big fan of supercharging either.

The only thing that makes it a small block is the bore spacing, although the differences between small and big blocks vary depending on who you talk too. The outside dimensions of the custom Dart block in the C6RS are still similar to the original small block design.

This car is going to be bad ass.

Curious as I didn't see it mentioned, do you get any kind of warranty a la lingenfelter?
