What would be a "good" price for a 04 plate 111R with 8,000 miles on the clock?

I have test driven a few now and am looking to do a deal on one.

Also, is there any thing I should be looking out for... common issues etc!

Any feedback welcomed!

Oh... and have there been any revision to the 111R since 04?

I have an '06 which has the LED rear clusters, touring pack as standard which includes the probax seats, drive by wire throttle, and Yoko AD07's (awesome). There was a recent ECU update for the DBW cars which made them a lot smoother on startup.

Check the interior fan is working on all speeds hot and cold, and the aircon relay clicks if it has it. It's probably the weak point of the car, and can cost shedloads to fix in labour as it's a clam off job to replace the resistor pack.

Other than that they're generally very reliable, and you can buy the LED lights later if you want them. So good luck!

EDIT: As for price I'd say about 19/20k?

 

I'd agree with the comments Gaz has made and generally say that the car is pretty damn good all round.

I presume you've had a look at SELOC? They treat the S2 iterations like we do the MY 04+s but they do generally admit the power increase is needed.

 

There are only two owners on here are they not? I only have the

Bearing in mind I have an S2000 with a broken clutch, torn roof and 4 discs that need replacing, I am expecting to walk away happy.

 

ps: the car in question has been driven by a woman, like a woman... the original tyres are still on the car and look brand new!
