But you can see how softly the spring rate is on the S compared to the RR.
That and so much of the S is set up for comfort - Air con, lots of sound deadening, super heavy exhausts that dampen the noise, the worlds biggest airbox to dampen the noise, and quite a high ride height.

My opinions on the FD2 are well known. the Mugen thing is a joke given the sum you need to spend to get it to the spec. It looks fairly cool though.
Stock the FD2 is quicker than the S2000 round a track, without any shadow of a doubt.
The FD2 with 10k of mods would be quicker but the S2000 with 10k of mods would be far quicker so the RR is just dumb overall, there are better ways to spend your money. It relates to the maturity of the aftermarket parts though, the FD2 will be continually amazing for years to come round the track. On the road though they are a nightmare and need new coilovers before you even start

if you genuinely want one now I'm sure 35-40k is still possible.
I'm going to watch it on the five watch again beastie and see what they have to say.

My S is no problem in the wet
