Lotus carlton is on now too - exciting.

 

Tiff just complained that you have to slow to 20mph before raising the roof on the A3 convertable!!!

 

He does come out with some odd things every now and then! Still a top bloke in my book though.

 

The Lotus Elan SE came out in 1990 as did the Lotus Carlton. My first Elan was one of the earliest. I remember squaring up to a Lotus Carlton at the petrol pumps and lusting after it as VBH did. Wolf in sheep's clothing or what?

 

A quick vote..Lotus Carlton or VXR8?

Lotus Carlton for me, the VXR8 still looks tacky, the Carlton looks menacing.
