Just get something nice with a towbar and a load lugger box trailer? you won't be able to hear the screams from behind.

I did have a look on that link for Previa / Estima. Ball cocks to that! £15k for a 5-6 yo one I think it was.
The names are fantastic though. I always like the Friendee Bongo
The volume the loves of my life / devil spawn were at when they decided to have a shouting contest yesterday I might well have been able to hear them from a trailer!

A Lincoln Limousine with a glass partition might work, and you could make money on the side ferrying Hen Parties around...

Going to look at a Kia Sorento tonight. I drive past the garage on my way home from work and they get a good write up. Might as well go for a look.
I'm not really thinking it will change my mind though. Price looks higher than the Alhambra. Roads around us occasionally are bad enough you'd want a 4x4 of some sort but no justification for the premium

It's quite expensive for that badge - although looks nicer than the Alhambra! Q7? Disco4? Old school Mercedes E55 supercharged with rear facing bench?

Yep, expensive and not suitable. Again it fell foul of the 3 car seats across the back seat requirement. The middle seat isn't full sized so pretty certain it wouldn't be suitable
I did have a look at a Carens whilst I was there that looked a better fit to our requirement.
It was significantly cheaper than the Alhambra (it felt it too but for the price difference I might have lived with it).
I think it would likely have had room for the 3 seats across the back.
With 2 back seats up though there was NO boot space which would have made it useless for us as a seven seater.
That took it out of the running along with a few other compromises we'd have had to make
I think that I've pretty much made up my mind now and settled on the Alhambra.
I don't have to commit for another 6-8 weeks based on the lead time so worth using that to see it I can haggle or push to get a few extras thrown in
