90s Classics?
Never been taken by Fiat Coupes! Horses for courses tho
My top 90's cars that still look pretty good today are :-
Ferarri 355
Mk IV Supra
Impreza 22b
Escort Cosworth
Evo 5 & 6 (al ittle bit of bias there!)
I'd happily drive any of them now, and do 2 of em!

What would be interesting to see is the relative number/% of production cars made against the general number of cars made at that time of what we now call classics.
Are you saying a car can not be a classic if it's high volume?
What about the Mini or VW Beetle?
I think I may have misunderstood!

Also - those of you citing the 205GTi - do you know when they came out, they're not a 90's car

Skyline GTR
Mitsubishi Evo
Subaru Impreza
Corvertte C5, the start of decent vettes.
Honda NSX
Ferrari 355

I was thinking what the word "classic" means. I, for example, wouldn't quote the two you have mentioned as classics, more iconic.
I can't think of a relatively high volume/reliable car that I would call a classic

High volume (ish), reliable in its day (and still is largely)
Not a 90's car granted
And also iconic IMO
90's cars are future classics IMO but their status is growing daily
