I guess in the 60k sector for a sports car it is tricky ground. Vantage is a lot more new but a very blunt tool compared to this. Evora is dynamically as good as it gets IMO but you couldn't take one over this at the same price. Shaguar is probably the closes (V6 S) and apparently comes very close.

Mm - with the GTS package making far more sense that all those usual stupid options that invariably boil my piss, suddenly the Coxsters seem very appealing. I'd like to try a V6S, though all those stupid options (again!) would make it far too annoying to purchase. Yes, you'd need to be a real Lotus diehard, to put up with the reduced practicality over the Stuttgarter, let alone the Castle Bromwicher.

The Alfa & the next-gen Coxter suffer from the same major major drawback; FI four-bangers. Buy a NA flat-six whilst you still can!

My next motor will be an F type S or R if I'm flush. I'm getting old

They are quite large. That puts me off.

I think they are a thing of beauty. Aesthetically, mechanically and aurally.

Nice car. Was bored at work on Friday and specced one up. In my perfect spec it was £15k in options!

I test drove cooking model on launch and loved it, although the smallest engine just felt too wheezy for the money.

Fantastic looking cars, I can see myself in one at some point.

Enjoy
