haha yea I knew I'd get some stick.

Doesn't bother me, I'm happy as trout with the purchase, can't believe someone would call the Z boring tho. I'd hazard a guess and say these people have never actually been in one.

Must be honest, I wasn't expecting much on the test drive after reading so much negativity about the cars performance on certain forums, as soon as I put my foot down I was thinking "errrm wtf, this is properly quick"

You might remember I was struggling with finance too... Well I've been lucky, my mam's give me 5 grand and is giving me a year to pay it back, interest free

That means I own the car outright, If I want to swap it out for an s2000 in a few months time I can but I dont think thats going to happen to be honest. Time will tell!

I will be hanging around here anyway, still love the s2000 after all.

Before you get too bored I would say you definitely need some hsd coilovers, it just so happens I bought some brand new from driftworks and are still in the box they sent them in, I sold my z before I got round to fitting them. Or unpacking them.

They are not only bnib, the hsd box didn't even get removed from the shipping box. Just put in my garage.

I also have a black front z badge (instead of the awful silver Nissan one.

If you want any if these bits pm me I'm sure we can work something out! Ha.

You can eff off now in your Datsun
The 350Z isn't a Datsun ....... it is a Lardy Renault powered Datsun. Make sure you get it right!

Enjoy your new car. Even if the valvetrain's a bit lardy, it's a bold idea.

OP I think the reason people call it boring is because the S2000 is at the other end of the exciting scale, it's a nut job of a car.

My mate bought a Z few years back & I've driven it a few times. I really loved the firm, weighty cruiser type feel of it but is it exciting? Not really.

You have a nice relaxing time with all those torques

We'll thrash the living daylights of our four-pot bangers BWAAAAAPPPP BWAAAAAP!!

(see you soon)

I was the polar opposite.

Lived to own a 350Z about eight years ago.

But after two minutes of the test drive I was almost in tears.

The rattling, flimsy plastics and the poor ride sealed the fate of that idea!

And as the sun has finally made an appearance, I think you will be rather disappointed
