Default Alan Day Honda

Alan Day Honda have sold three of their sites to Hendy, the big Ford dealer.
I used Winchester once (in their old premises) for a service but their quote this time was

No great loss tbh. Only thing I ever used it for was picking up the odd oil filter on passing..

The Hendy dealers in this neck of the woods are utter garbage. Just my opinion. No idea what impact it will have. I always thought the service department at Winch was very good with my car.

I used the Winchester branch for the annual service after reading other recommendations and found them really quite good. Now concerned as I have heard repeated complaints about Hendy in this area over the years.

Hendy Ford in Fareham are OK, not fantastic, but competent most of the time.

We'll wait and see how the new Hendy Honda (Portsmouth) get on with the 54K service...

So are they still Honda? Or Ford?

If the latter, where's the nearest Honda dealership now?

Still Honda. For Winch at least. I think! At least, that's what they said when the missus was looking at a Jazz and Civic recently before we plumped for the Swift Sport.

I'll have a pootle up to Winnall on Saturday and see what the boards all say.

Fingers crossed they keep the same service staff. Just wonder what any pulling on the purse strings may lead to in terms of quality of service..... I used to get a previous motor serviced at Hendy in Shirley So'ton. They were - as already stated - competent, but certainly not of the standard at Alan Day Winch. The Romsey dealership has gone right down the pan since it turned from Rayco to Hendy.
