Default Alarm issue,help please

Hi All,

After a bit of help please,i've tried the search but found nothing conclusive.

My friend drives a Honda accord coupe 3.0 V6 Auto,2000 W plate and he was washing it the other day and left the radio on. The battery went dead so he had to jump start it with leads from another car,the car started up fine with no issues but he noticed that when he came to lock the car and arm the alarm using the keyfob the car locked itself but the indicators didnt flash to inform him that the alarm was set and also they dont flash when the keyfob is pressed to unlock the car aswell.

The keyfob seems identical to the one on my S MY05 so i gather it must be a similar alarm system.

The car central locking system locks and unlocks fine using the keyfob and the boot release button wotks fine too.

Anybody have any ideas to get the hazards to flash again?

Many thanks,
Paul

Done a search Tom,found nothing conclusive. I know the S alarm is H&P so im guessing that the Accord one is too.

It seems strange that that just by jumping the car it would fry the alarm circuit board. I wondered if theres an alarm reset button or if it needs to be reprogrammed ?
