Today, and every day, a blue VW Lupo with black bonnet, stupid little wheels that are wider than their diameter, and the obligatory German style number plates.

I don't know why, but I feel an irrational anger every time I see it! This one even more than all the other Golfpololupos with stupid little wheels.

I saw a corsa (very gay) with a turbo near Newark. It span the wheels constantly and looked lethal on a fast corner but was quick in a straight line.

I thought 'why' for quite a while afterwards.

Hope you don't mind me posting this Fatbloke. It wasn't on the road but in a workshop at Barley where we took the TR to have a new soft top fitted.

I had never heard of a Cord. Think it dates from 1933 and has front wheel drive! (I like that pit in the workshop.)

There is a (very good, soundtrack by Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood) review in The Telegraph today for The Master featuring a pic of a very similar car, whitewall tyres and all. I have been unsuccessfully trying to find out what it is. Anybody got any ideas?

No problem at all. It's a quality spot.

I had a model Cord amongst my Models of Yesteyear collection when I was a kid. Apart from them being American (I think), I don't remember much else.....

I followed an Audi Q3 at 43mph on a national speed limit section of the A35 today. I can only assume that something was wrong with it, I've never seen one that wasn't doing at least 70, pressed up against someone's back bumper

Great thread FB

Am I okay to post an old gripe? Ok, thanks

this annoyed me while on the way to work in the morning in April this year, a guy in the same flavour S as mine driving with a complete disregard for where he's been and who's coming up behind him, typical bl00dy selfish convertible driver
Yes it would've taken aaaaaaggeeeessss to clear that HUGE back window...you cazy lunt!
