Managed to hang on to the tail to the TVR Griff 500 had to work fairly hard though but he never actually left me for dust, he was noticably only using the loud peddle in a straight line where as i was flat well before that point . The guy in the M5 following me was surprised how early I was giving it the beans out of the corners to, i was consious of leaving him initially out of corners and then he would catch me as we accelerated away. But nice to see the gap open in the mirror occasionally just a bit, when i was in the correct gear and well above 6k .

Took this over a week ago in my local Sainsburys and forgot to post.

Two doors and longer than a hearse. The proverbial yank tank.

I think I could make out the word Rivera or Riviera on the back. A Dodge ... ?

Having been in my S2000 and tried to keep up with the other half in my Griffith 500 I can safely say that Griff was either in a poor state of tune or the driver was overly cautious ! My wife comfortably left me ... which was embarassing The Griff murdered the S2K and my S2K was a quick one for a standard car (far quicker than my first one).

I also had a little run in when driving the Griff when I first got it and found then that the S2K though spirited was not in the same league. The 0-60 is quoted as 4.1. I know TVR exaggerated things but the 0-60 I can believe as my current car is about 4.6 to 60 and still feels a fair bit slower than the Griff !

The handling aspect I would totally agree with though !!

The Griff 500 was by far the fastest thing I have owned ... and probably the most dangerous

Passed a Mazda Xedos 6 going the other way and was immediately struck by how its design hadn't really dated. I thought they were good looking cars at the time and the one I saw the other day still looked good. Didn't have time to take a pic but this is the fella I'm talking about ...

Looked relatively classy in an era when the MkIII Cavalier was the order of the day...

John I totally agree he could out drag me once in a straight line but I was able to apply power earlier coming out of the corner and therefor gathered him in until he got on the beans. On occasion when he did try earlier there was some loss of composure which I would guess was unsettling for him . And no doubt a decent driver would walk over poor old me in the S!!

Saw two stunners today whilst driving (so no pics sorry).

On the way back from Daytona Dave's garage I spotted a mint condition BMW M3 E30 in red, it looked genuine with the wider arches and the LHD set-up, was super cool!

Then on a random drive to Tarporley I spotted a Jensen Interceptor which was probably on it's way back from Oulton Park, (the BSB was on today).

Forgot to post this monstrosity I saw a few weeks back in Stokes Bay. Waited for it to start up and was a bit disappointed. Mustang sounded good though of course
