Not sure what other people think but theres something about the original shape Impreza that draws me to it over any of the new models, except maybe a RB320 but they're still

Hopefully mine will be on its way to a new home soon.
Awww what are you getting instead?
Re the price - no idea if it's good or not, but a friend was looking for a bog standard 2.0Turbo Estate Classic and was suprised how expensive they still are (cheaper to buy a bug eye!)
Look for oil leaks out of the rocker cover gaskets. You'll notice the buring oil smell.
A common fault as they are right above the headers so get baked.
Not a major deal but fiddly job to fix them.
Be wary of a different front end and changed steering wheel. I dont think this had airbags, but if it did its a good pointer to a front end bender!
My old classic - totally mint, and missed actually!

Go get a P1 - stronger engine.

Cheers for the pointers!
Your old one looks mint, I love the classic 4 doors of that year, the slightly face lifted model..
How has the P1 got a stonger engine Steve?? It's an STi6 engine. Same forged pistons etc.
In fact I consider it to be more of a risk. Unfortunately Subaru / Prodrive decided to ignore the fact the ECU from the STi wasn't mapped for UK fuel, and all they did to combat it was put a Broquet fuel enhancer in the tank! A lot of P1's have gone pop for the reasons I mentioned above.
Fortunately now, Prodrive have latched onto the Ecutek software and its now used on their PPP packs. Back then they couldn't crack the ECU.
