After last years disappointing experience with a Ford Mustang, I am considering one of these for my 3-week rental this June, in California. Price is around

Oddly I was looking at one of these in Vegas last week. The Mrs loves it, I'm not sure.
VX220 in drag IIRC but for the yanks so expect rubbish handling and luxuries. It will be poxy for travelling big miles due to the obvious lack of boot space.

What about a Dodge Charger or Magnum instead ?

Nice, looks great fun, but looks can be deceiving

PS love the music on that web page, anyone know who the band is and what the song is, sounds a bit like HardFi-TV or whatever they are called.

Anyway I reckon that would be a good fun car to drive around in, not sure I could get used to manual left hand drive though, had enough fun in Florida with an auto.

Good luck.

One of these new small yank roadsters got good write ups from UK journos - they were quite disappointed it wasn't coming over here IIRC.

May well have been this one.

If you go to the States, it seems a missed opportunity to rent anything with less than 8 cylinders / 5 ltrs. IMHO.

especially when you go to a 'gas station' and fill it from empty for the equivalent of 0.45 pence.
