I was lucky enough to be taken round brands hatch by a racing driver representing ariel. For a few minutes it was the best (car) experience of my life - absolutely fantastic. A few minutes later I was taken round in a radical SR3 - mindblowing! The atom was running rings round everything else other than the radicals and that included an ascari.

They don't cost a fortune ot run or maintain.

Biggest issue is the K series engine in the back! Most of the bits are common to the Elise.

There's not a lot to it!
When one of the EVO guys caught one of the front corners in an accident he had to spend over

As a lawyer you can afford it!

I guess the Atom is the more uptodate all rounds package.

I prefer the looks and concept to the 340R

The 190bhp K series is a hand grenade engine, they need servicing every 3k miles and they eat head gaskets like smarties.
6k and the head gasket thing happens far less frequently than it does in say, Freelanders since the VHPD (the 190bhp K series) has steel dowels.
Mine also has a remote stat which stops the thermal shock to the head and ought to eradicate the problem completely.
It also sounds infinitely better and has more torque at low revs than the Honda engine. It might not be perfect, but it's no 'hand grenade'.....
