I saw my first R8 in the flesh yesterday and, I must admit, it looks far batter in the metal than in any pics I've seen.

Actually, it looked amazing. Really wide and squat at the front.

 

I saw a white one recently and wow it's stunning in the flesh...i want... i want badly.

 

What a heap of shit.

 

Oh dear - why do people do it???

 

I've seen a couple and I think they are nasty. Chavvy LED look at me lights on all the time, far too wide to drive at any speed down anything other than a dual carriageway or really wide A-road.

It's just trying too hard really, like most things Audi these days - what happened to the lovely understated looks of the 80 and the 100/200?

 

For the sort of people who'd get a Riley Elf instead of a mini.

Makes Acura look almost credible.
