Default Audi S4

Just driven my friends S4 Avant with Milltek exhaust and chip upgrade. 385bhp plus an awesome soundtrack.

Good traditional grunt!

Lovely!

I could get quite used to it, but I would likely revert back to the need for roof down and screaming high revs quite quickly.

Shame some hooligan hacksawed both aluminium wing mirrors off it recently.

They'll probably be on something with about a tenth of the power by now.

Would be good to catch them and even things up by hacksawing both their ears off

I had one on a day's test drive a few years ago - very good car! Quite thirsty though, from what I remember...

I quite fancied an S4 - but resisted the temptation to have a test drive ... as I knew I would like it ... and ended up buying a Golf !

Yep, the trip computer indicated it had managed 15mpg average. Does 12mpg around the houses and 20mpg on the motorway in reality.

Ouch!

I think I'll cherish my S for a while more.

It was good fun though.
