its been done before.

and i have the same system.its called a key.i turn it when i am at level crossings and long delays and stuff.

Seriously, I swear if I started saying that we were an eco flying school and charged people money for carbon offsetting we would get more business.

Stop/start systems, don't they create a lot of wear on the starting system of the car, meaning your more likely to have to replace components sooner (thus creating a bigger carbon footprint in manufacture of these items)?

i used to have a fiesta that would stop the engine everytime i came to a halt years ago.

i dont bang on about it.

Nope, starter motors are not what they used to be fortunately. I wish they would do the same thing to aircraft engines!

The biggest irony is, it was VW that did it (Formel E) back in the 1980s before greed became good.

Gravesmobile announces a fantastic innovation; it's a circular alloy casting with a band of pressurised steel-reinforced rubber around its circumference. Placed under the car body and the road (attached by another groundbreaking announcement to follow) it massively reduces frictional drag etc etc...
