You mean like the two massive gravel traps at the Chase at the end of Conrod

I dunno, Dembo. I reckon that all the Aussie lingo really makes the race day atmosphere. All the nicknames - Skaify, Frosty, Cambo, Dembo() - and the blokey chat are what make it.

Race starts 10.30 am their time (00.30 our time, I think), with a 20 min warm up session due to start at 10.00 pm our time.

Remember last year a lot of screwing around ahead of the event. Seems to be biggest motorsports event of the Aussie calendar

Absolutely. Their Le Mans.

If I'm not mistaken, a lot of the innovations in terms of in-car shots etc., came from Aussie racing and they seem to come up with something new every year. Did you see the guy in the studio with a complete car, engine and transmission? We might actually learn something ...

EDIT: Pokey-cam ...

Yeah they ran that last year.
Ran a whole lot about camber in relation to car set up last year
Car came in that was obviously having set up issues

Interviewer: So we mentioned earlier in the show the effect positive camber might be having on your car
Driver (just out of car and not too happy): Yeah? Well we were running F@&k all camber so that's got jack $hit to do with it
