I hope they keep Brundle though...
Martin 'When I was in F1' Brundle? He does ok.

I always liked Jonothan Palmer's insight.

People slate James Allen, but he has to try to make F1 exciting, when it often isn't.

Sure, he comes out with some crap sayings, but he's very knowledgeable.

But maybe the BBC have pulled out all the stops and employed Tamara!

F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone said he was "delighted", adding: "The BBC has some innovative ideas to consolidate and expand our UK fan base."

Translation from Bernie Speak

'The BBC paid us a sh1t load more cash than ITV were willing to.'

Just heard that on BBC Breakfast too - it's on the front page of The Times apparently...

Maybe the 'innovative coverage' is some kind of Top Gear meets F1 show

If it gets "The Cock" off one of the few programmes I watch, then that's fine by me. Jane Allen, Louithe Goodman and Lenny Kravitz - they're just journalists, who saw a chance to nab some of the best jobs in the world. Give me people who have been in the thick of the competition who have a bit of the gift of the gab any day. I used to think it was bad enough having to listen to The Cock, but these days we have to see him as well I don't care who the BBC put in charge, it has to be an improvement

They should definitely keep Brundle and give Blundell (an underrated driver in his day IMO) the pit lane job instead of him being Steve Rider's stooge.

Also anyone who thinks the programme is watched only by people who think Lewis Hamilton is God should be banned from having anything to do with the coverage.

But.

Be careful what you wish for.

Two words to consider:

Plato.

and.

Jason.
