Default Best place for Karting?

Where is the best place to go for karting? Preferably outside London.

Was thinking of organising a Trip sometime soon. When I was in dubai I used to go Karting almost every 2 or 3 days it was great they had a huge track.

Buckmore Park

We nearly had an s2ki day there last year but it never happened for various reasons.

Anyway, it's a cracking circuit as I'm sure a number of other people on here will confirm!

Ok, not outside London, but Kings Cross Daytona Raceway - very large and indoor so not weather dependant. . .

I like Dayton Karts at Sandown Park, Esher (right in the middle of the horse racing circuit) and Thruxton Karting Centre.

My mates and I have an annual GP taking in some of the South's finest outdoor tracks and we rate these as the most fun/ challenging along with Buckmore...

Buckmoore park - is probably the best arrive and drive. Hire a Thunderkart.

If not, I think Clay Pidgeon in Dorset were going to hire out Rotax Max's last year. (two stroke, electric start monsters!)

Clay Pigeon's pretty good, Buckmore has a good reputation but I've never been, the PFI Circuit near Newark is excellent, The Daytona Circuit at Milton Keynes is fun as well...

Further afield, Lanbargh in Middlesbrough is fast and the Prost designed circuit at Le Mans is the best I've driven...

Thunderkarts... fast in a straight line compared to a prokart but a prokart makes mincemeat of them in the corners...
