Bit of help needed.
Im sure there are a few other people on here with a C2 so will give it a shot....
My girlfriend has a 2004 MK1 Citreon C2 VTS 1.6 16v
She's having to use her car for work this week, so thought I'd give it a quick once over for her. Did all the usual bits (checked oil, screenwash, water - kicked the tires and said "they're ok"..
) and thought I'd quickly check the air filter, give it a knock and spray some injector/carb cleaner up there just becuase I could - except I couldnt!!
I just couldnt work out how to get into the air filter!? Unfortunately I haven't got any pictures, but from the looks of the thing, there are 4 Screws holding down the box (with a cold air feed from behind the light).
The CAI goes into the bottom of the box. 2 screws are located at the front (which were an absolute PITA to unscrew - almost like they were NOT meant to be unscrewed!). The other 2 are located right at the back of the box, under the dash!? This is all joint to the pipe that connected to the Throttle Body as 1 whole system!?
I could not see any clips anywhere to just remove the top to get into the filter!? it is certainly the strangest Air box I have ever seen and I'm pretty sure it should not be that hard!?
Unfortuantely she has had to go now, but any help so I can attack it when she gets back next weekend would be great!
Thanks in advise and apologies for my stupidity!
