Is this a thread about the value of S2000's or is it about robo vacs?

I could do with knowing before I post further, TBF I can't believe Mark hasn't moved into another forum yet.

Standards are slipping, he used to be on the ball

I think it is about cheap S2000s.

They are in freefall.

Agreed, but this thread isn't a discussion about that.

It did start that way though.

It still has room to go back onto the original topic, so I thought i'd leave it

My view (to aid the topic re-direction) is that the S is more of a luxury car item than most, being a 2 seater, and therefore is one of the first types of car which people will sell in trouble times.

There are also a LOT for sale on PistonHeads - especially when you compare it to the volume which have been manufactured. Ok, there are lots of other types of cars FS but the S is low volume.

The price which Polemeomomomoefefefcist (sp) was offered was for his says it all

OK you're the boss

There have always been loads of S2000's for sale on PH, have you seen how many S2 elises there are?

You are right in one way in so much as it is a commodity, so isn't a purchase that people have to make. I am fortunate enough to be fairly immune from "troubled times".

I have a fair few quid to spend on a new car. I could save that money and not bother but where is the fun in that?

I have a deal on a new car, if I miss it then c'est la vie.

I was browsing the Autotrader website today and the Monaro 6.0 VXR which I've been looking at for ages is now well within my price range !!! I can't believe how much the value of used cars has nose dived !!!

With enough change for the Roomba Robotic Vacuum Cleaner I've been considering as well

Andy
The car I test drove last year was up for

If the cash is there and the (luxury/non commodity) item is what you desire, this is a great time to buy. Pile in hard boys
