Things have increased in price but there is no way, a person with moderate debt would be that much different in terms of lifestyle. Unless, they are debted to the hilt and living an unsustainable lifestyle out of their means.
With 2k fee's, for a 2 year deal, if your mortgage is under 200k you would be better off with IngDirects Variable rate, over 200k its not a bad deal but I bet HSBC variable rates could beat it.

Being 'Average Earners', myself and my g/f haven't really noticed it.
But then, as CC says, we aren't debted upto the hilt, have no mortgage, and don't go on silly holidays (although the Crumball rally cost me ~

I've seen a 40k 360 for sale locally to me well 45k but they would take 40k for it. So I went and had a look. http://www.christopherjacksonltd.com/vehic...Ks%20BEST%20BUY
Tatty car in ladbyboy blue that was on Sale or Return. Not a great deal and not for me.
They did have but must have sold a very sensibly priced Bentley GT though.
