Default BMW M5 specs

I was exiting my local town onto a bypass a moment later some twit in an X reg M5 pulled out in front of me grrr, it's slight upward hill I spot a micra accelerating slowly and the M5 behind. I goto overtake just as I'm about to the M5 owner pulls out c##t!, I back off slightly then keep my foot down he guns it but I maintained the same small gap all the way to the top upto a good speed, I had the roof down too .

I'm not wanting to turn into RR thread but I'm quite chuffed with S I know it's F.I but first time I've really booted it .

Definetly an M5 because it was quick

That'll be Gad's beast. You did well.

He was probably reining it in up the hill though

Just realised about Gad selling one.

I Wouldn't have stood a chance against a newer m5 .

I thought he would have left me due to having more torque, I must say I really ragged the S but was good to open it up.

I would expect a supercharged S2000 to be on a par with an E39 M5 due to the ptw

Before the S2000 blew up anyway

That depends on who installed it and tweaked/tuned it - which was me in both circumstances .

Yeah the M5 a heavy beast but a nice big torquey v8

I'd rather be sat in the M5 though.

Well, as long as no one who knows me, saw me

Being an ex e39 m5 owner I can say, they are quick.

Just maybe not as quick as a 5 litre V8 should be.

Despite the Vanos this and 8 throttle body that, just never seemed quite as fast as I was hoping.

As mentioned though, great torque!
