That is one of the worst photochops I've ever seen. Including my own, and I'm completely cack handed at PS.

It won't look like that thing if they make it. I'm bored of the conjecture some car mags put forward about BMW. We're still awaiting the MPV crossover, the BMW supercar and another, unconfirmed model range.

Yeah, right. I'll believe it when I see it, frankly!

The previous generation Z2 was supposed to be twinned with a TF replacement, which might have been interesting from a product-planning viewpoint.

However, these pointless extra models exasperate me.

Perhaps if BMW hadn't made the Z4 look like a wheeled dildo, they wouldn't be disappointed with its sales?

The idiots are on the rise.

I thought that was how BMW designed their cars, start a rumour and pick the best / worst photochop.

Wahey! I bloody hope not! The Z1 was essentially an E30 3-Series underneath... a car released in 1982!!! Albeit it had the Z-link rear suspension (unlike the Z3, which made do with semi-trailing arms and hence was gash when it came to cornering), I wouldn't fancy a Z1-based Z2...

Not wishing to harp on but I'm quite connected when it comes to the announcement of future BMWs, and all the company has announced recently is a mildly facelifted X3, the new 7-seat X5 (nice at the rear, minging at the front) and the M6 Convertible, plus a whole load of twin-turbo petrol/diesel lumps for the 3-Series and 3-Series Coupe ranges.

No sign yet of this MPV.

No sign yet of some kind of crossover vehicle (Audi Allroad, anyone?!).

No sign yet of a 1-Series 3-door variant/coupe model/convertible model/M version.

No sign yet of this supposed 200mph Z9 supercar minger.

No sign yet of intentions for a Z2.

I think it is a load of old tot and I stand prepared to be d if all these cars appear before 2167.
