Default BP Ultimate 102

Hope this isn't a repost - I have done a search!

BP have recently introduced a new fuel, BP Ultimate 102, aimed at motorsport enthusiasts. 102 Octane, as you've probably already guessed.

Here's some info.

http://www.bp.com/genericsection.do?catego...ntentId=7017179

...and here's where you can buy it http://www.bp.com/sectiongenericarticle.do...ntentId=7016865

I'm not sure any of those locations is anywhere near a track (most of them in London where the average speed is 11mph!) but there you go.

The one on the A20 is near Brands, the Newport Pagnell one is on the way from the M1 to Bedord, and the Milton Keynes one isn't too far from Silverstone.

Haven't Shell done something similar???

They put all their stations selling their super uprated stuff near race tracks for track day use I guess.

Any mention of the price?

Think BP did this over a year ago.

Totally aimed at track and race cars - completely useless for normal or even tweaked cars due to the ECU not having the scope to take advantage of it...

I have a mate that tried it in his tweaked MR2 Turbo and he said he noticed a slight gain on the topend but nothing in the midrange. Not really worth
